APS Architectural Design works closely with Building Control during the approval stage
The issue of the Building Regulations Completion Certificate depends on whether Building Control is satisfied that the construction work has been carried out in accordance with the Building Regulations and the approved plans. Building Control will also require that all conditions associated with the Full Plans Building Regulations approval have been satisfied.
APS Architectural Design works closely with Building Control during the approval stage of the Full Plans application to limit the conditions attached to the approval prior to works commencing.
On completion of the construction work, a Building Control Officer will carry out a site inspection. Any defects or additional information required must be addressed before the Building Regulations Completion Certificate can be issued.
